DA002 is a generic 10 position multifunction switch for ovens, the switch behind the knob that picks the oven function. It replaces original numbers 03010890 and 41.48023.007 and suits a range of Lofra, Baumatic, Damani and Pacini ovens, including the Lofra LEF9EGSS and C9EGSS, the Baumatic BAF9003 and BAF9006, and the Pacini PAO590051. Check the number on your old switch to be sure.
Oven functions not working? Check the selector switch
Every setting on the oven dial is routed through this switch. It connects the right combination of elements, fan and light for each function, so worn or burnt contacts cause odd faults. One mode stops heating while others work, the fan or light runs in the wrong setting, the knob clicks without engaging, or a burning smell comes from behind the control panel. Heat-browned terminals and melted wire insulation at the back of the switch are a giveaway. A continuity check through each position against the wiring diagram confirms it.

Wiring the new switch
Isolate the oven at the switchboard before pulling it out of the cabinet, and have a licensed electrician do the work if the oven is hard-wired. Take clear photos of every wire on the old switch and move them across one at a time so nothing gets swapped. Check the shaft lines up with the knob, then test each function in turn.
