Panasonic's genuine CWH001021 is the propeller fan blade for the CU-L34DBE, CU-L43DBE and CU-L50DBE outdoor units. CU marks the outdoor half of a Panasonic split system. The blade mounts on the shaft of the outdoor fan motor and draws air through the condenser coil. Check that the full model on your outdoor unit's label matches one of those three before ordering.
Vibration or rattling from the outdoor unit
The propeller fan pulls air through the outdoor coil so the system can get rid of heat in cooling mode and collect it in heating mode. Blades get chipped by debris, cracked by age and sun, or knocked out of balance. A damaged blade makes the whole unit vibrate, rattle or hum, and the noise often changes with fan speed. If airflow across the coil drops, pressures rise and the system can cool poorly or trip out on hot days. A blade striking the shroud also points to a worn motor bearing or loose blade nut.

Fitting the propeller fan
Turn the system off and isolate it at the outdoor isolator and the switchboard. Remove the front grille, then the nut holding the blade to the motor shaft. Note how far along the shaft the blade sits and which way it faces. Fit the new blade in the same position, tighten the nut and spin it by hand to check it clears the shroud. A qualified air conditioning technician should handle this work.

No. CWH001021 is the propeller fan blade only. If the motor is noisy, seized or won't start, that's a separate part. Check your outdoor unit's full model number on its label before ordering either.
