cwe24c1413-genuine-panasonic-vertical-air-flow-vane
CWE24C1413 Genuine Vertical Air Flow Vane for Panasonic Split System Air Conditioners CS-RE9N, Indoor Unit Air Direction Blade

CWE24C1413 is a genuine Panasonic vertical air flow vane, listed in our records for the CS-RE9N wall split. Vanes are the plastic blades in the indoor unit's outlet that direct where the conditioned air goes. They're light parts, and the pivots or clips can break if the blades are pushed by hand or caught while cleaning. Panasonic's description gives the model as CS-RE9N, so compare it with the full model on your unit.

Broken air vane on a Panasonic wall split

Vanes guide air out of the indoor unit so it spreads across the room rather than blasting in one spot. Some move automatically while others are set by hand. A vane that has snapped at a pivot, warped from heat, or come off its link bar will flap, rattle or hang at an angle, and the airflow becomes uneven or noisy. Gaps where vanes are missing also let more dust and insects into the outlet. Because vanes are clipped into the unit, a broken one is usually simple to swap once you can see how it mounts.

Part details

Genuine Panasonic part CWE24C1413

Vertical air flow vane

Listed for the CS-RE9N indoor unit

Replaces a snapped, warped or missing vane

Swapping the vane

Turn the unit off and isolate the power before reaching into the outlet, as the fan can start without warning. Look at how the old vane clips onto its pivots and any link bar, then ease it out. Fit the new vane the same way, check that it moves freely through its full range, and restore power to test the airflow.

Questions about this part

Is CWE24C1413 a single vane or a set?

Our record doesn't say.
