Product details
This generic oven door seal is made to replace Ariston seal C00091946, which is also known as 482000022767. It measures 550mm by 350mm and is listed for Ariston ovens including the CP059MD and CP059MDX, CP859MT models, the MB91AUS and MB91IXAUSS, the KP59MSCX/G, and XF905 and XF995.3 units. It's a compatible aftermarket seal, not an Ariston branded part.
Ariston oven not holding temperature? Check the door seal
The door seal fits around the oven cavity, and the door closes onto it to trap the heat inside. Once it has gone hard, flattened or split, heat escapes around the edge of the door. Signs include longer preheat times, food that browns unevenly or cooks slowly, heat or steam escaping around the door, and knobs or a control panel that get hotter than usual. A seal that has come loose from its fixings can also droop and catch in the door as it closes.

Fitting the new seal
Switch the oven off at the isolating switch and let it cool fully. Open the door wide and work the old seal out, noting how it is fixed at the corners and where its ends join. Fit the new seal the same way, starting along the top, and press it evenly into place without stretching it. Close the door and check the seal sits snugly all round.
