Euromaid rangehood fan or lights not working?
The main PCB handles both the logic and the power switching of the rangehood. It reads the buttons or touch panel, then switches the motor between its speeds and turns the lights on and off. When the board fails, the hood may do nothing at all, run on only one speed, refuse to turn off, flicker its lights or ignore button presses. Burnt components, failed relays and moisture or grease getting into the electronics are typical causes. Before replacing the board, rule out a blown lamp, a faulty switch panel or a seized motor, which can produce similar symptoms.

Replacing the control PCB
Isolate the rangehood first, either by unplugging it at the power point inside the cupboard or turning off the circuit at the switchboard. A hard-wired hood needs a licensed electrician. Remove the filters and the cover over the electronics, photograph every connector and note where each motor and light lead goes. Fit the new board, refit the covers and test every speed and light setting.
