ATLL01 is a genuine LED light assembly for rangehoods supplied through the Eurostyle group. It belongs to the same AT series of rangehood parts as the motors, switches and halogen light assemblies, but this one is the LED version. Rangehood light still out after checking the basics

The light assembly lights up the cooktop beneath the rangehood. With LED units the light source is usually built in, so when the LEDs fade, flicker or go dark there is often no separate globe to swap and the whole assembly is replaced. Heat and grease rising from the cooktop are hard on the housing and connections. If one light works and another doesn't, the assembly is the likely fault. If every light is out at once, check the switch and control board first, as they feed all the lights.

Replacing the LED light

Switch the rangehood off at its isolator or the wall, and call a licensed electrician if the hood is hard-wired. Take out the grease filters for better access. Note how the old light is clipped or screwed in and how its lead connects, then fit the new assembly the same way and keep the wiring clear of the fan and hot surfaces. Turn the power back on and test the light.

Can I fit this LED light in place of a halogen one?

Not unless your rangehood's parts list allows it. ATLL01 is the LED version, and the halogen fitting in the same range is a different part. Match the light type already in your hood, or send its model number through the parts enquiry form.
