ATAL62C01 is the genuine small inner aluminium mesh filter for Euro rangehoods, listed for the ES602SS, ES602SS2 and ES6022SS. As the inner, smaller filter, it isn't the same size as every filter on these hoods, so check the position and dimensions against your old one before ordering. A fresh filter is the simplest way to bring a tired, greasy rangehood back to life.
Why a clogged rangehood filter matters
The mesh traps grease from cooking fumes before the air reaches the fan and ducting. Once it's packed with grease, airflow drops, the hood gets noisy, and smoke and steam hang around the kitchen. A saturated filter can also drip grease back onto the cooktop and becomes a fire risk if flames ever reach it. Swapping the filter
Turn the rangehood off and let the filters cool. Release the catch on the old filter and lower it out, taking care as it may be greasy. Slide the new ATAL62C01 into the inner position and click it into place. Clean the filters regularly in warm, soapy water to keep the airflow up.
