Changing the filter

Turn the rangehood off and let the hood and filter cool. Most filters release with a spring latch or tab on the front edge, so press it, tilt the filter down and slide it out. Check whether your hood takes more than one. Clean the new filter regularly, by soaking it in hot soapy water or running it through the dishwasher if your manual allows.
