Using the new filter
Rinse the new filter in warm water before the first use. Drop it into the filter holder and make sure it seats evenly, then dose and tamp as normal. Clean it after each session and soak it occasionally in hot water to clear the holes. If coffee leaks around the holder after fitting a new basket, the group gasket may also need replacing.
