Brewed coffee leaves the brewing unit, travels through a short pipe and exits through the outlet into your cup. On many automatic machines the outlet has twin nozzles and slides up and down to suit different cup heights. Replacing the coffee outlet

Switch the machine off, unplug it and let it cool, as the outlet and coffee pipe get hot. Depending on the model, the outlet may pull straight off, unclip, or need a side panel or front cover removed to reach the fixing. Take photos before you disconnect the coffee pipe. Refit the pipe firmly and run a rinse to check nothing leaks.
