Before replacing it, fit fresh batteries and make sure nothing is blocking the front of the TV. If buttons are unresponsive, keys stick after a drop or a spill, the battery cover is lost or the case is cracked, a replacement is the practical fix. Magic Remotes are registered to the TV, so expect to pair the new one when you first use it.

Part details

Genuine LG part AKB76040004

LG Magic Remote handset

Listed for LG OLED A2, B2, C2, CS, G2 and Z2 series TVs

Also listed for QNED80, QNED85, QNED91, QNED99, NANO75 and UQ91 series

More than 70 compatible models on file

Setting up the new remote

Put fresh batteries in the remote and switch the TV on.
