Lost the remote down the couch for good, or dropped it once too often? AKB75855505 is a genuine LG Magic Remote, also known by the numbers AKB75855501 and AN-MR650A. It's listed for LG's W9, E9, C9 and B9 series, the SM81, SM86, SM90, SM95 and SM99 series, and the UM6970, UM71, UM73, UM75 and UM80 series. It is also linked to the AN-MR18BA remote reference.

LG Magic Remote not working?

The Magic Remote does more than change channels. It moves an on screen pointer, scrolls through menus and apps, and on supported TVs handles voice commands. When it fails you might find the pointer won't appear, buttons respond only up close or not at all, or the remote stops pairing with the TV. Before ordering, fit fresh batteries, clean the battery contacts and try pairing it again using the steps in your TV's manual. If it still won't respond, or the case is cracked or the buttons are worn out, a replacement is the fix.
