It's supplied as a complete handset. Universal remotes rarely cover every function an LG product offers, so the genuine handset is the safer choice. The record doesn't name the product it suits, so match the AKB code on your old remote, or the one in your product's parts list, before ordering.

When a replacement LG remote makes sense

A remote that controls settings, timers or modes is hard to live without, and many functions can't be reached from the buttons on the product itself. Typical faults are keys that have worn through their contact coating, a cracked case after a fall, corrosion from old batteries, and liquid damage. Signs include buttons that need repeated presses, a remote that works only up close, or no response at all with fresh batteries in. Once the circuit is corroded or cracked, a new genuine handset is quicker and more reliable than a repair.

Part details

Genuine LG part AKB75055603

Complete remote controller assembly

Suits LG products listed with an AKB75055603 remote

Product and model fit not on file

First use of the new remote

Slide off the battery cover, fit new batteries and match the plus and minus marks.
