It is used in a long list of Baumatic and Technika ovens and cookers, from the BO65MS.1, BS65MS, BS67MS and BA550 to the P619SS, P629SS and P639SS, the TB70FSS, and the T948SS and MCT948SS. Order it when the holder has cracked, scorched or corroded and a new globe alone won't bring the light back.
Oven light not working
The lamp holder mounts the light in the oven wall and connects it to the wiring behind. It lives in constant heat, so over time the socket can scorch, the contacts can corrode or the lamp can fuse into the holder. When that happens a new globe won't fix the light, or the lamp works only now and then. Warning signs include a blackened or cracked holder, a lamp that won't come out, or a safety switch that trips when the oven light comes on. A working light lets you check food without opening the door and losing heat.

Replacing the lamp holder
Turn the oven off at the switchboard and let it cool completely. The holder is wired into the oven, which is normally hard-wired, so fitting should be done by a licensed electrician. Note the wiring and any gasket behind the holder before removing it. Once fitted, restore power and check the light works.
