AK50023L Genuine Oven Wire Rack for Baumatic Ovens, Replacement Wire Oven Shelf from the AK500 Parts Series

AK50023L is a genuine wire rack for an oven, numbered in the AK500 series of Baumatic oven spares. Racks look much alike, but width, depth and the way they lock into the side runners vary from oven to oven. The same series also has a safety shelf, AK50023L01, which is a different part. Choosing the right wire rack for a Baumatic oven

Oven racks carry trays, dishes and roasts at different heights, and they take a beating from heavy loads, heat cycles and harsh cleaners. Bent wires let dishes tip, a warped rack can catch on the door or the side walls, and broken welds or chipped plating can make a rack unsafe to use. Fitting the rack

Let the oven cool fully. Slide the rack into the side runners at the height you want, with any raised edge or stop facing the way the old rack did so it can't be pulled straight out. If it won't sit level or it catches the door, take it out and turn it around. Wash a new rack in warm soapy water before its first use.
