It runs on rails or supports under the crisper cover and takes a lot of weight when full. Common failures are cracks in the corners or base, a broken front lip, and runners that have worn so the drawer drops or jams. A split drawer leaks juice into the bottom of the fridge, which can cause smells and a sticky mess, and a drawer that will not close fully lets produce dry out.

Part details

Genuine LG part AJP74894504

Vegetable crisper tray

Listed for GS-B680 and GS-L668 models

AJP74894508 is not a suitable substitute

Fitting the crisper drawer

Empty the old drawer and pull it out to its stop.
