AJK73210004 Genuine Blue Suspension Assembly for LG Washing Machines, Single Unit, Two Required per Washer

Here's the blue version of LG's suspension assembly, part number AJK73210004, a genuine part for LG washing machines. Each one is sold as a single unit, and the washer takes two of the blue type. Its natural coloured counterpart, AJK73210003, is a separate part. Check the colour and number on the old units before you order, so the right pair goes back in each position.

What worn LG suspension units feel and sound like

Suspension assemblies carry the tub and damp its movement, which matters most during a fast spin. Once they lose their resistance, the tub swings further than it should. Typical complaints are loud thumping or knocking in spin, a machine that rocks or travels across the laundry floor, a tub that sits visibly lower on one side, and spin cycles that keep stopping to redistribute the load. Left too long, the extra movement can damage the tub, cabinet or bearings, so it's worth sorting early.

Changing the blue units

Switch the washer off at the wall, close the taps and drain any water left in the tub. Take a photo showing where the blue units sit compared with any natural ones, then remove them one at a time. Fit the new pair in the same positions, making sure each end is fully seated, and test with a short spin.

Questions about this part

Can I mix blue and natural suspension units?

Only in the positions LG intended. The two colours are different parts, so fit blue AJK73210004 where blue units came out and natural AJK73210003 where the natural ones were. Keep each colour in its original position.
