Top loader not draining or stuck before the spin
In a top load washer the drain pump empties the tub after the wash and each rinse, and it has to clear the water before the spin can start. Swapping the top loader pump
Pull the plug and close the taps first. Bail or siphon out any water left in the tub, then tip or open the machine as needed to reach the pump at the bottom. Take a photo of the wiring and hose positions, refit everything the same way and make sure the hose clamps are secure. Run a short cycle and watch underneath for drips.
