Why an LG washer won't drain

When the program reaches a drain stage, the pump motor spins an impeller that pushes water out through the drain hose. If the pump fails, water stays in the drum, the machine stops mid cycle or refuses to spin, and clothes come out soaking. A humming pump that moves no water, loud grinding or rattling during draining, or a burnt smell all point to it. Fitting the replacement pump
