AGM76251804 Genuine Water Jacket Assembly for LG Dishwasher XD5B14PS, Dishwasher Water Chamber Also Linked to AGM76251801

LG calls this part a water jacket, and you will often see it described as a water chamber. AGM76251804 is the genuine LG assembly for the XD5B14PS dishwasher, with AGM76251801 also linked to it. If you have traced a leak or a fill fault back to this moulded assembly, this is the replacement part to order.

What the water jacket does in an LG dishwasher

The water jacket is a moulded assembly that sits against the tub and forms part of the dishwasher's water path, which is why a crack or a failed seal shows up as a leak. It can crack from age, an impact while the machine is being moved, or overtightened fittings, and its seals and hose connections can start to weep. Look for water pooling under the machine, leak errors, or staining on the side of the tub, and inspect the jacket closely if the hoses and pump check out.

Fitting a dishwasher water jacket

This is a more involved repair, usually needing the dishwasher out of its cavity and possibly a side panel off. Switch off at the wall, turn off the tap and have towels ready. Photograph the hose and wiring connections before unclipping anything, move them across one at a time, and check every seal is seated. Run a full cycle with the kickplate off so you can spot leaks early.
