Models on file include the TD-C801H, TD-C902H, TD-H901MW, TD-H903CMW, TD-H803CSW and TD-H802SJW, plus the DVH4-08W, DVH5-08W, DVH45-08W and DVH9-09W. If the mesh is torn or the frame is cracked, swap it for AGM75510732 straight away.
Why a damaged lint filter needs replacing
Every load of washing sheds lint, and the filter catches it before it can reach the fan and the rest of the airflow path. A clean, intact filter keeps air moving through the drum so clothes dry in a reasonable time. Once the mesh tears or the frame splits, lint passes straight through and builds up inside the dryer, which slows drying, makes the machine run hotter and increases the risk of fire. Signs include fluff collecting around the filter housing, longer drying times, clothes coming out warm but damp, or the dryer cutting out on its overheat protection.

Fitting and caring for the filter
Turn the dryer off, open the door and pull the old filter straight out of its slot. Vacuum any loose lint from the opening before pushing the new filter fully home. Clean the filter after every load, and wash it in warm soapy water now and then if fabric softener leaves a film. Make sure it is dry before refitting, and never run the dryer without it.

Can I run my dryer without the lint filter while I wait?
No. Without the filter, lint is drawn into the fan and internal parts, where it builds up and becomes a fire risk. Wait until the new filter arrives before using the dryer again.
