LG's LT700P water filter is now sold under part number AGF80300702, which replaced the older ADQ36006101. This is the genuine LG cartridge for plumbed-in LG fridges such as the GR-L730SL, GR-D730SL, GF-SL730SL and GF-SD730SL, plus the GR-D907SL and GR-L218ASL. If your old filter shows either number, AGF80300702 is the one to order.

When to change your LG fridge water filter

Mains water passes through this cartridge before it reaches the dispenser and the ice maker. Inside, the filter media traps sediment and helps with taste and odour, but it slowly loads up as it works. An old filter often shows up as a slow or weak flow from the dispenser, ice cubes that come out small or hollow, or water that tastes or smells off. Many fridges also show a filter reminder on the display. A fresh cartridge keeps the flow up and helps protect the water valve and ice maker from grit.

Swapping the filter cartridge

Have a towel handy, as a little water can drip out when the old cartridge comes free. Remove it as shown in your owner's manual, then fit the new one until it locks into place. Run several jugs of water through the dispenser to purge air and any loose fines, and throw away the first batch of ice. Reset the filter indicator if your fridge has one.

Questions about this part

Is AGF80300702 the same filter as ADQ36006101?

Yes. AGF80300702 is the current LG number for the LT700P filter and it replaced ADQ36006101. If your fridge used the older number, this is the cartridge that takes its place.
