Top rack of the LG dishwasher not cleaning
The upper arm spins beneath the top basket and sprays the glasses, cups and bowls loaded there. Water reaches it through a feed pipe from the wash pump, and the jets are angled so the water pressure turns the arm. If the arm is cracked, its jets are blocked by food or scale, or it no longer turns freely on its mount, the top rack misses out. You'll see cloudy or spotty glasses, food left inside bowls and mugs, and one area of the basket coming out dirtier than the rest.

Swapping the upper spray arm
Turn off the dishwasher and slide the upper basket out. The arm is attached to the underside of the basket, usually held by a nut or a twist lock in the centre. Release it, check the feed tube and docking point for debris, and clean them out. Fit the new arm, lock it on and turn it by hand to check it spins without hitting anything. Reload the basket and run a short program.
