This genuine LG nozzle assembly, part AGB73932501, is the lower spray arm for a family of LG dishwashers. It is listed for the XD3A15BS and XD3A15MB, the XD3A15NS, and the XD3A25BS and XD3A25MB. In the XD4B range it suits the XD4B14PS, plus the XD4B15PS and XD4B24PS. The XD5B14PS is also listed, as are the XD5B14WH and the XD5B24PS. LG is moving this part to the newer number AGM30057102, so you may see either number on parts lists.

Dishes on the bottom rack not getting clean

The lower spray arm spins under the bottom rack, driven by the pressure of the water forced through its nozzles. It does most of the heavy cleaning on plates, pots and pans. If the arm cracks, the hub wears or the nozzles block with food and grit, it may spin slowly or not at all. Then you get food left on the lower dishes, gritty residue, cloudy glassware and sometimes a knocking sound as the arm hits something. Clean the nozzles first, and replace the arm if it is cracked, warped or wobbles on its mount.

Swapping the lower spray arm

Turn the dishwasher off at the wall and pull out the lower rack. Check how the old arm is held, as some lift straight off and others use a cap or nut in the centre, and remove it. Clean the hub and the filter area underneath, fit the new arm and spin it by hand to make sure it turns freely and clears the rack. Run a rinse cycle to test.
