It carries waste water from the pump to your sink drain or standpipe, and it's listed for 12 models including the XD2A25MB, the XD3A15BS and XD3A25MB, the XD4B14PS and XD4B24PS, and the XD5B14PS. Some listings link it to AEM74333109 as well.

Dishwasher not draining or leaking under the sink

If the drain hose is kinked, crushed behind the cabinet or blocked with food scraps, water stays in the bottom of the tub at the end of the cycle. A split or perished hose causes a different problem, with water dripping inside the cupboard or out under the dishwasher. Hoses also get damaged when a machine is pushed back into its space. Before replacing, check the sink spigot and the filter in the base of the dishwasher, as blockages there produce the same symptoms.

Part details

Genuine LG part AEM74333102

Drain hose assembly

Linked number AEM74333109

Suits 12 LG XD series dishwashers

Replacing the drain hose

Switch off at the wall and turn off the water before sliding the dishwasher out. Keep a towel and shallow tray handy, as the old hose will hold some water. Note how the hose is routed and where it loops up high, since that loop helps stop dirty water siphoning back. Fit the new hose, secure both ends firmly, and run a cycle while checking for drips.

Questions about this part

Is AEM74333109 the same hose?

It is linked to this part as a cross reference, but check it against your model before ordering.
