AEM72912602 is the genuine LG drain hose for a large range of LG dishwashers. It is 2m long with a 21mm diameter and carries waste water from the pump out to your sink trap or standpipe. Listed models include the LD-1204, LD-1403, LD-1415, LD-1419 and LD-1420 series, the LD1452 range, the LD-1481 to LD-1485 machines and the LD-14A models. Please read the fitting note below before you order, because this hose is routed differently to the earlier one.
LG dishwasher not draining or leaking from the drain hose
Every drop of dirty water leaves an LG dishwasher through this hose. When it splits, perishes or gets kinked behind the cabinet, you might find water left in the bottom of the tub after a cycle, a drain fault error on the display, or water pooling under the sink or around the machine. A hose crushed while the dishwasher was pushed into its cavity is a common culprit. Before replacing it, check the filter in the base of the tub and the sink spigot for blockages, as either of those will also stop the machine draining.

Check the hose routing before you fit it
This updated hose connects on the outside of the machine, while the earlier version ran inside it. If your dishwasher needs the drain hose to pass through a hole in the rear panel, this hose will not suit, and that older style is no longer available. To fit it, switch off at the wall, pull the machine out and note how the old hose is clamped and routed. Fit the new one without kinks and run a rinse to check for leaks.
