Changing the grille safely
Turn the air conditioner off with the remote, then isolate it at the outdoor isolator or the switchboard so the fan can't start while your hands are near it. Wait for the blade to stop completely. Undo the screws or clips holding the old grille, fit the new one the same way round with all fixings tight, then restore power and check the fan runs without touching it.
