Signs your LG fridge door seal needs replacing
The door seal is the flexible magnetic strip around the door that closes against the cabinet to keep cold air in. When it tears, flattens or loses its grip, warm, moist air leaks in. That shows up as frost building near the door, condensation running down the cabinet, food spoiling sooner, and a compressor that runs far longer than it should. Try closing the door on a sheet of paper at several points. If it slides out easily, the seal isn't doing its job there.

Fitting a new fridge seal
Turn the fridge off at the wall if the door will be open for a while. Leave the new seal somewhere warm, or use a hair dryer on low, so the packing creases relax. Many LG seals push into a channel around the door, so work the old one out and press the new one in, starting at a top corner and going all the way round. Close the door and check the seal touches evenly.
