Fitting the new filter frame

Make sure the vacuum is switched off and off the charger, and remove the battery if it detaches. Empty the dust bin over a rubbish bag, then release the bin from the handle. Take out the old frame using its release tabs, fit the new frame the same way round and click the bin back together. Clean or replace the motor filter at the same time for the best result.

Can I wash the metal filter?

Follow the cleaning instructions in your LG manual. As a general rule, brush or tap out hair and dust regularly and make sure any part is completely dry before it goes back in the vacuum. A mesh that is bent or torn should be replaced rather than cleaned.
