Parts like this sit where an appliance takes in water, filtering it and controlling the flow. Our stock record doesn't name the appliance or models, so the part number is the key check. Compare ADQ75798310 with your old part or LG parts list, or send us your model number.

Faults that point to the water filter and valve

Where water enters an appliance, a filter catches grit and scale while a valve controls when the water flows. When a combined assembly like this fails, typical signs are water leaking around the filter or valve body, slow filling or no water at all, a valve that clicks but lets nothing through, or water that keeps trickling when it should stop. A blocked filter can produce the same no-water symptoms as a dead valve, so cleaning the filter is a sensible first step before replacing the full assembly.

Part details

Genuine LG part number ADQ75798310

LG description: Filter Assembly, Water (Valve)

Combined water filter and valve assembly

Changing the filter and valve

Unplug the appliance and shut off its water supply before you begin, then release any pressure and catch the water left in the lines. LG lists it as a water filter assembly with a valve, not a drop-in cartridge, and the appliance isn't recorded.
