LG's ADQ74533405 is the genuine mesh lint filter assembly for the WTG9032WF and WTG9034WF top load washing machines. The filter traps fluff, threads and small debris as water circulates, so they end up in the mesh instead of back on your washing. Replace it if the mesh is torn, the frame is cracked or the filter has gone missing.
Fluff left on clothes after washing?
During agitation and rinsing, water passes through this mesh filter so loose fibres and lint are caught and held. A torn or split mesh lets everything straight back into the wash, so clothes come out covered in fluff or pet hair. A filter with a broken frame or clip may not stay seated and can drop into the bowl. Some owners only find out the filter is missing when dark clothes start coming out speckled with lint. Emptying and rinsing it regularly keeps it working, but a damaged one should be replaced.

Fitting and looking after the filter
Turn the washer off before reaching into the bowl. Pull out the old filter and check how it locates, then push the new one in until it sits firmly. Empty the mesh every few loads and rinse it under the tap to clear trapped fibres. Keeping the filter clean stops lint going back onto your clothes.
