adj73472412-genuine-lg-duct-assembly
ADJ73472412 Genuine Duct Assembly for LG Appliances, Complete LG Air Duct Assembly, Order Using the LG Part Number

Here's LG's genuine duct assembly under part number ADJ73472412. LG names it simply Duct Assembly, and our records don't tie it to a particular appliance or model, so we haven't guessed. Some duct assemblies include more than plastic ducting, carrying fans, dampers or sensors as well, so compare the new part with what's fitted in your appliance. The number on your old duct or in your LG parts list is the best check.

What a duct assembly does

Inside many appliances, air has to travel a set route, whether that's cold air moving between compartments, warm air leaving a drum, or cooling air passing over components. The duct assembly is that route. If it's cracked, warped, blocked or missing a seal, the air takes the easy path instead. Common results are poor cooling or drying, temperature swings between sections, ice or condensation building up inside, overheating, or extra noise. Clear any blockage and check for a failed fan before deciding the duct itself is the problem.

Part details

Genuine LG part number ADJ73472412

LG description: Duct Assembly

Complete assembly from LG

Fitting advice

Disconnect power at the wall first. Note how the old duct is held and which wiring or hoses pass through or around it, taking photos before you unclip anything. Transfer any parts the new assembly doesn't include. Make sure all joins and seals line up, then reassemble the panels and let the appliance run long enough to confirm normal operation.

Questions about this part

What's included with ADJ73472412?

LG supplies it as a duct assembly, but our records don't list the individual components.
