The stock record carries only LG's short description, Cover Assy, and doesn't identify the appliance, so we haven't guessed. LG uses ACQ cover numbers on more than one product line. To be sure of fit, compare ACQ85959318 with the number on your old cover or your LG parts list, or send us your model number.

When to replace an LG cover assembly

Covers protect what's behind them and keep an appliance looking finished. They tend to be replaced after a crack from a knock or a drop, when a clip, hinge pin or screw boss breaks off, when heat or cleaning chemicals have warped the plastic, or when the original has gone missing. A cover that no longer seats properly can rattle, catch on moving parts, or leave wiring and components open to water and dust. Because LG makes many covers that look similar, matching the part number is the reliable way to buy.

Part details

Genuine LG part number ACQ85959318

LG description: Cover Assembly

Factory LG replacement part

Swapping the cover

If the cover sits near wiring, a motor or a heater, unplug the appliance first.
