Look for ACM73079207 on the label of your old part or in the LG parts list for your model before ordering.

When an LG controller assembly is the fix

A controller assembly takes a setting or a signal and turns it into an action inside the appliance. When one fails, the symptoms depend on what it controls, but the common pattern is a function that stops responding while the rest of the appliance seems normal, settings that won't hold, or operation that comes and goes. Moisture, heat and power surges are the usual causes. Before ordering, rule out simple faults such as a loose plug, a tripped safety switch or a damaged wire, and confirm the part number matches.

Part details

Genuine LG part number ACM73079207

LG description: Controller Assembly

Supplied as a complete assembly

Replacing the controller

Unplug the appliance or isolate it at the switchboard before removing any panels.
