The cavity seal runs around the front of the oven opening and the door closes against it to keep heat in. Changing the oven seal

Turn the oven off and wait until it is completely cold. Open the door wide, or remove it if that gives easier access. Look at how the old seal is held, usually by hooked clips pushed into holes around the oven front, and ease it out. Fit the new seal with its join in the same position as the old one, pressing each clip home evenly as you work around. Close the door and check it seals all the way round.
