A259409 Genuine Handle Kit for Ariston Appliances, Ariston Indesit Whirlpool Group Replacement Handle Kit

A259409 is a genuine Ariston handle kit, used to replace the handle on an Ariston appliance. The stock record doesn't name the appliance or list what's in the kit, so compare it with your old handle and check the part number A259409 in the parts list for your model before ordering. If you can't find the list, send your Ariston model and product numbers through the parts enquiry form.

Replacing a broken Ariston appliance handle

Handles take a lot of daily force, so they're often among the first parts to fail. A handle may crack at the mounting points, work loose as screws strip their threads, or snap off completely when a door is pulled hard. A loose or broken handle makes the appliance awkward to open, and a jagged break can catch hands and clothing. Fitting a new handle kit restores a firm grip and a neat finish.

Fitting the new handle

Switch the appliance off at the wall if the handle is on a door with electronics nearby. Some handles are fixed from the inside of the door, which means taking the door apart, so take photos as you go. Clean the mounting points, fit the new handle and tighten the screws firmly but not so hard that they strip the plastic.
