ILVE A/436/00 is a genuine lamp holder supplied together with its light, for ILVE ovens. It replaces the whole fitting rather than just the globe, which is the fix when the holder itself has cracked, scorched or lost its grip. No model list is on file for A/436/00, so check the parts list for your oven against the model and serial number on its rating plate before ordering.
ILVE oven light not working
The oven lamp sits in a heat resistant holder in the cavity wall, wired back to the oven controls. Constant heat cycling can make the holder brittle, loosen the contacts or burn the terminals, especially after a globe has failed and been left in place. If a new globe doesn't fix a dark oven, or the light flickers, the holder is the likely culprit. A broken holder can also leave the glass cover loose or let the globe drop out.

Replacing the lamp holder
Turn the oven off at the switchboard and let it cool fully before touching the light. Remove the glass cover and globe, then release the holder, which may need access from behind the oven. Photograph the wires before disconnecting them. ILVE ovens are often hard-wired, so if the oven has to come out or the wiring needs work, use a licensed electrician.

Do I need the whole holder or just a globe?
If the old holder is cracked, discoloured, loose or its contacts are burnt, replace the full holder and light with A/436/00. If the holder looks sound and only the globe has blown, a new oven globe of the same type may be all you need.
