Part A/094/69 is a genuine ILVE oven door gasket measuring 420 x 330mm, which works out to about 1500mm of seal in total. ILVE oven door gasket worn or hardened
On an ILVE oven, this gasket is what lets the door close tight against the cavity. Without a good seal, hot air escapes and the thermostat keeps calling for heat, so you burn more gas or power and wait longer for the oven to come up to temperature. Look for a gasket that has gone flat, crumbly or shiny, gaps at the corners, scorch marks on the trim above the door, or steam rolling out of the top while baking. Dishes that brown unevenly from front to back are another clue.

Measuring and fitting the gasket
With the oven cold, measure the old gasket's width and height to confirm it's 420 x 330mm. Remove it carefully, noting how the corners and the join are positioned. Wipe the mounting area clean so nothing stops the new gasket sitting flat. Fit it evenly without stretching, then shut the door and check it meets the seal all the way around.
