Clicking but no spark at one burner? A/018/06 is the genuine ILVE ignition plug, also called a spark electrode or ignition candle, with an 800mm lead. It's listed across a long run of ILVE MP cookers, including the P60MP, P70MP, P80MP and P90MP, the PF, PL and PW versions of those sizes, the PL150SVG and the NT906WMP.
ILVE burner not lighting? Check the ignition plug
Each gas burner has its own ignition plug sitting beside the burner cap. When you push the knob in, the spark generator sends high voltage down the lead and the plug sparks across to the burner to light the gas. Cracked ceramic, a corroded tip, a damaged lead or a plug soaked by spills can all make the spark jump to the wrong place. The usual signs are one burner that won't light while the others do, a weak or orange spark, clicking with no visible spark, or a spark you can see or hear somewhere under the cooktop.

Replacing an ILVE ignition plug
Gas appliance work in Australia should be done by a licensed gas fitter, with the cooker switched off at the power point and the gas turned off first. The lead runs back to the spark generator, so note its route and keep it clear of hot surfaces and sharp edges. Set the tip at the same gap to the burner as the original so the spark lands where it should.

Why does the lead length matter?
The lead has to reach from the burner back to the spark generator without being stretched or coiled up. This is the 800mm version, so measure the old lead or check that your cooker is on the model list before ordering.
