A/018/02 is an OEM ignition spark plug for ILVE gas burners, with a 400mm lead and the H=28 marking in its specification. It's an aftermarket electrode made to the original ILVE pattern, not an ILVE branded part. The fitting list runs to 75 ILVE models. Some of the most common are the M90FDVG, the MT90FDVG, the M120FDVG, the P90NVG, the PN90FVG and the PD90FNVG.
ILVE burner clicking but not lighting?
Each burner has its own spark plug sitting beside the burner head. When you press the ignition, the module sends a high voltage pulse down the lead and the plug sparks across to the burner, lighting the gas. If the ceramic is cracked, the tip is coated in grease or the lead is damaged, the spark may be weak, jump somewhere else or not happen at all. You'll notice a burner that needs a match, clicks without lighting or sparks only now and then. A spark that tracks to the cooktop instead of the burner also points to a failed plug.

Fitting the spark plug
Turn off the gas supply and isolate the power at the wall before starting. The plug usually clips or screws into the burner base, with the lead running back to the ignition module. Route the new 400mm lead the same way as the old one, away from hot surfaces and sharp edges. ILVE gas appliances should be worked on by a licensed gas fitter, who will test the burners after fitting.

How do I know the lead length is right?
Measure the lead on your old plug from the electrode to the connector. This one has a 400mm lead. A lead that's too short won't reach the ignition module, and one that's much too long can be hard to route safely.
