Gas cooking appliances are set up for one gas type, and running natural gas burners on LPG, or the other way round, is unsafe. 900403943 is the genuine Electrolux LPG injector kit for the Pro Line range, sold as accessory ACC173. LPG injectors have smaller holes than natural gas ones to suit the higher supply pressure and energy content of LPG. Check that your appliance belongs to the Pro Line range before ordering 900403943.
Converting a Pro Line gas appliance to LPG
Each burner has an injector, a small jet that controls how much gas flows into the burner. On a conversion, the natural gas injectors are swapped for LPG ones sized for each burner, and other settings such as the regulator and simmer screws may also need attention under the installation instructions. Get it wrong and burners can lift, flare yellow, produce soot or carbon monoxide, or fail to turn down safely. Before work starts, the gas supply must be isolated and the appliance switched off at the wall.
