Signs your fridge water filter needs replacing
Mains water passes through this cartridge on its way to the dispenser and ice maker, where it catches sediment and other particles before the water reaches your glass. As the filter loads up, the flow from the dispenser slows to a trickle, ice cubes come out small or cloudy, and the water can start to taste or smell stale. A clogged filter can also leave the ice maker struggling to fill. Check your fridge's user manual for the recommended change interval, and swap the filter sooner if the flow drops off.
