Wok burners put out a lot of heat, and the shield helps keep that heat away from areas it shouldn't reach. No model list is on file for this accessory, so confirm that 900403767 or ACC072 is listed for your cooktop before ordering.

Why a wok heat shield is worth fitting

High output wok burners are great for stir frying, but the wide flame and big pan can push a lot of heat sideways. Over time that heat can discolour or damage nearby surfaces, controls and knobs, and make the area around the cooktop uncomfortably hot. A purpose-made safety shield helps contain and redirect that heat. If you're seeing scorching or discolouration near your wok burner, or knobs getting hot to touch, a heat shield is a simple fix. Always follow the cooktop's installation clearances as well.

Part details

Genuine Electrolux accessory 900403767

Also known as ACC072

Safety shield against wok burner heat

For Electrolux group gas cooktops

Fitting the shield

Make sure all burners are off and the cooktop is cool before you start.
