900403744 Genuine Electrolux Laundry Detergent Powder 2kg for Washing Machines, Washing Powder

Part 900403744 is genuine Electrolux laundry detergent powder in a 2kg pack. It's an Electrolux accessory product for washing machines, sold under the same numbering as its spare parts, so it's easy to add to a repair order. How far 2kg goes depends on your load size, how dirty the wash is and the dose shown on the pack.

Choosing the right washing powder for your machine

Detergent does the heavy lifting in a wash, loosening soil and holding it in the water so it rinses away. Using the right amount matters as much as the product. Too much powder leaves residue on clothes and in the dispenser, can cause excess suds and adds to build-up and odour inside the machine. Too little leaves clothes dull and grubby. Follow the dosing guide on the pack, adjust for water hardness and load size, and check the pack says it suits your type of washer, front or top load.

Using and storing the powder

Measure each dose rather than pouring by eye, and add it to the right compartment of the dispenser or the drum as your washer's manual directs. Keep the pack sealed and somewhere dry, because damp powder clumps and won't dissolve evenly. Store it out of reach of children and pets, and read the safety information on the pack.

Questions about this part

Is this powder suitable for front loaders?

Check the label on the pack, which states the machine types it's made for and the dose for each. Front loaders generally need a low suds detergent, so make sure the pack covers your type of machine before using it.
