Electrolux supplies it through its parts range for Electrolux group appliances, typically to replace a remote that's been lost, dropped or damaged. Universal here is Electrolux's own description, and it doesn't mean the remote works with every appliance. Check 900403727 against the parts list or user manual for your model before ordering.

When it's time for a new remote

Remotes live hard lives. They get dropped on tiles, lost down the couch, chewed by the dog and left with flat batteries that leak and corrode the contacts. A remote that only works up close, needs buttons pressed hard, shows a dim or blank display with fresh batteries, or does nothing at all is usually past saving. Before ordering, try new batteries and check the appliance's receiver window is clean and unobstructed. If those don't help, a replacement remote is the simple fix.

Part details

Genuine Electrolux part 900403727

Described by Electrolux as a universal remote control

For Electrolux group appliances

Check the number against your model before ordering

Getting the remote working

Fit fresh batteries, matching the polarity marks in the battery compartment.
