Swapping the filter

Turn the rangehood off and let any lights cool. Release the filter by its catch or tab and lower it carefully, as it may be greasy. Wipe down the frame and the inside of the hood while it's open. Fit the new filter with any arrow pointing the same way as the old one, push it up until the catch clicks, and check it sits flush.
