Fitting the door shelf

Empty the door first so nothing falls as the old shelf comes away. Most door shelves lift straight up and out of moulded rails on the door liner. Lower the new shelf onto the same rails, press down evenly on both sides until it seats, and give it a gentle upward tug to confirm it is secure before loading it.
