Its partner, the ice tray base, has a separate number, 874107, so you only need to buy the piece that's damaged. Fisher & Paykel has made more than one ice tray, so look at the number on the old lid or tray before ordering.
Why replace an ice tray lid
The lid keeps the tray covered while the water freezes. That helps stop water slopping out as you carry the tray to the freezer, keeps the tray clean, and helps stop the cubes picking up smells from other food. Lids crack when they're dropped or twisted while frozen, and the clips or edges that hold them on can snap. A lid that no longer fits snugly lets frost build up and spills water across the freezer shelf.

Fitting the lid
No tools needed. Empty and dry the ice tray, then line the new lid up with the tray and press it down until it's seated evenly on every side. Wash the lid in warm soapy water before first use. Avoid twisting the tray with the lid on when the ice is frozen hard, as that strains the lid and its clips.
