It replaces several earlier modules, including 847818P, 838196P, 851578P, 837764P, 820817P and 814534P. Listed models include E522B, E442B and E402B bottom mount fridges, E331T, E381T, E411T and E440T top mounts, and RF522 and RF610 models.
Fisher & Paykel fridge not cooling or alarming
The control module is the brain of the fridge. It reads the temperature sensors, switches the compressor and fans, runs the defrost cycle and drives any display or alarm. A failing module can cause a wide range of faults: a fridge that isn't cooling or is freezing food, a compressor or fan that won't run, constant alarms, a dead or flickering display, or error codes that keep coming back. Because sensors, fans and wiring can produce similar symptoms, it pays to diagnose carefully before replacing the board.

Fitting the control module
Unplug the fridge at the wall before removing any covers. Take a photo of every connector before unplugging it, and handle the board by its edges to avoid static damage. Plug each connector back into the same socket, refit the cover and allow the fridge several hours to reach temperature before judging the repair.
