Going by its description, it's the foot that works with the base hinge at the bottom of the cabinet, helping hold the fridge level and carry the weight of the door. We have no model list on file for 8588119962021, and the description is brief, so compare it closely with your old part, including which side it sits on, before ordering.

Fridge rocking or door sagging at the bottom hinge

The base of a fridge carries the full weight of the cabinet, the food inside and the doors. At the lower hinge, the foot and hinge work together to keep the cabinet level and the door lined up. If the foot cracks, wears down or goes missing, the fridge can rock or lean forward, and the door may drop, rub on the cabinet or stop closing by itself. A door that no longer closes cleanly lets warm air in, so a broken foot can lead to frost build-up and a fridge that runs more than it should.

Part details

Genuine Electrolux part 8588119962021

Base hinge foot

For Electrolux group fridges

No model list on file, compare with your old part

Fitting the base hinge foot

Switch the fridge off at the wall and empty the door shelves to reduce the weight. Get a helper to tilt the cabinet back slightly and support it while you work, and never lay the fridge flat on its back. Remove the old foot, noting any screws and the hinge pin position, fit the new one, then adjust the feet until the cabinet sits level and the door swings closed on its own.

Questions about this part

Is this foot left or right hand?

Its description doesn't say.
